Our investment strategy

We focus on several sectors of interest, with favorable medium to long-term market dynamics: residential, commercial, healthcare & logistics real estate, and structured finance.

Within those sectors, we seek acquisition targets with a clear angle for us to add value: distressed assets, inefficiently bundled assets/financial structures, attractive acquisition prices, mainly off-market transactions.

We favor projects where we can acquire a majority stake, occasionally with aligned high-quality partners.

We carefully structure the acquisitions and partner with best-in-class operators to maximize risk-adjusted returns across the cycle and over the long-term.

Through our diverse network of partners, we have developed in-depth relationships with sector leading management teams, who are an excellent source of off-market transactions. In this way, once a target has been identified, Secufund Real Estate can create opportunities ahead of a wider auction process, at a favorable acquisition price. We meticulously screen our potential deals, and seek to acquire high quality properties at discount to replacement cost.

We then improve the properties through hands-on management and targeted value-add initiatives. Our efforts result in solid returns for the fund and strong economic assets for communities.
